To all our friends and family in Christ,

Blessed are you in the precious name of Jesus Christ. We bless and thank God for you and your support that we have received during the last month. Without your support we would not have been able to go through this very difficult month.

With the rain in the area we have been facing some difficulties to provide in the needs of the people in Kleinskool. Some of the houses got totally flooded and a lot of the people had to be housed in the community centre. We handed out blankets and clothing to the people to help provide in some of their needs.

We are still in need of warm clothing, blankets, food and some household items as the need is still growing by the day.

Getting to Kleinskool was sometimes difficult as the river flooded and the roads were closed. We had to just pray that our property and those of our workers were safe.  Some of our workers had to send their families to stay in the community centre but could not go there themselves as leaving their homes alone would be dangerous, because as soon as they leave their homes alone, the criminals would take their homes over, steal all their belongings and plunder their homes.

Financially it also caused some problems, as we had to provide for more people than usual. The hall was fully packet each service and we could only pray that God would provide in everybody’s needs.

We ask that you pray with us for the provision in the needs of the people in Kleinskool and surrounding areas. Also that you pray for strength and wisdom for, us that we can see the need and know how to handle every situation.  We need not only financial assistance but also hands to help us in His work.

Loved ones in Christ,

It is November and we stand amazed that this year went by even quicker than the previous one!

But if we look back over the year, we realize how much we achieved in 2010. We have seen so many people gave their lives to Christ and we have seen so many lives changed for the good. Only God can change people and we give Him all the honor. We are merely the instruments and He uses us to make a difference, daily.

The past two years the hotels in Port Elizabeth helped us to give a Christmas party to the children of Kleinskool. This year, we won’t  be receiving help with this project to host the party for 1000 children. We decided that we will be going ahead with the party, because this is the highlight of their year and we don’t want to take this away from them.

So we are asking our family and friends to help us with this project this year. We are in need of donations, sweets, cookies, cooldrinks etc for this purpose.

In the past we ran a ‘shoe box’ project and this was very successful. We ask if you will be able to get involved with us this year. We would love to give each child something, even if it is only something to eat or a small toy.

Our party will be held on the 26^th of November, so the collection date will be no later than 19 November.
